Before & After

I love before and after pictures...so here are some new ones. In the last couple of days, we have really made some progress. Mom and I have painted are little hearts out...and you know that is true when you are washing more of your paint clothes than you are regular clothes, huh Mom? Casey is putting insulation up in the girl's room and our office. It is getting ready for sheet rock next. My dad has been working on our customer's bathroom. It looks so good too!! Here are the before and after pictures!

My Very Own Hannah Montana & Billy Ray Cyrus

So, Caroline got a Hannah Montana wig for Valentine's Day and has not taken it off since! And I couldn't help myself during this concert between Casey and Caroline...You can't see it well, but she also has the make-up on too! "Hannah" ran into our bedroom to get Casey's guitar and immediately needed a "Billy Ray" to perform with her! During this time...Georgia didn't know what to think of the blonde wig and Daddy banging on the guitar really loud!! :o) It was such a sight to see and hear in our living room! Wish you could have been here!

Give me your best Hannah Montana pose!

And of course we had to have a dance along with the concert!

Our Own Little Hippie

So, I was going through some of Caroline's old clothes to supply Georgia's closet with, and found this hat that I think my sister gave to us. And Georgia fell in love with it! She thought this hat was so fabulous and wore it around the house most of the night. After awhile, she forgot she even had it on. Enjoy our little hippie!! :o)

"You are interrupting my reading time, Mom!"

"You want me to wear what??"

"Show us your tongue Georgia"... notice the cup she has...
Reading her favorite book...Brown Bear, Brown Bear

Slatboard & Dots

Well, this week was big for our store remodeling. It is the first time, in my opinion, that it is really beginning to look like a store. Casey worked very hard getting our slatboard up. This material is extremely heavy...and yes, he has been warned about lifting it. He has had some help...thanks Dad!! The slatboard has made such a huge difference in the look of the building. We "hired" my mom this week to paint for us! And she was the official "placer" of the polka dots that I put up above the slatboard. The dots really make the building cheery! You can't help but smile when you see them! (Excuse the date on some of the pictures....some say 2005)

And the toolbelt is on folks!!

This is the "office supplies" side of the store...yee haw, there's slatboard!

"Mom, does the orange one look okay here?"

This is the longest wall of the store....done!!
Look at the before and after picture!
A closer look at the dots...

The Karate Kid

Miss Caroline has been taking karate for about 2 months now and loves it. She recently performed her first belt test and did very well. She is now considered a "gold belt". With her move up, she is now learning how to spar. Here she is in her sparing gear. She just recently got to begin using it. She goes around the house trying to karate chop everyone...Georgia just yells at her. She has taught Georgia some of her block moves. Now Georgia thinks she is in karate class.

Only pic with Caroline in her glasses...mom was afraid they would get broke.
This is one of her instructors...Mrs. Sunshine

She is sparing with another girl in her class...Caroline is one of 3 girls.
She isn't punching here...she is learning to use her "up block" position.

She is doing a "round house" kick here.

Hannah Montana in 3D

Caroline and I were invited to Ft. Worth last weekend to take part in the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus 3D movie that was playing at Grapevine Mills. We had so much fun!! Yes, even I had a great time. Little did I know that this adventure would involve girls from the age of 13 and younger, long, long, long lines and lots of screaming and dancing! The show started at 7:30 and we were already in line at 5:25!! And yes, there were people in front of us! Around 7:00 they opened the doors, and with elbows out ready for a fight, we got the best seats, front and center! Caroline had the best time....danced the entire time! (And I know some of you are not surprised by that!) :o)

Here Caroline stands next to the poster out in front of the theatre

Caroline showing off her 3D glasses.

Here are our great seats...popcorn and drink in hand!
